Tum Hi Ho" (English: "You are the one") is a track from the Indian movie Aashiqui two, sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Mithoon. Picturised on Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, it was published by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series, it grew to become popular films in the top 10 of Planet Bollywood for 8 weeks and shooting the first spot on the Top 20 of MTV India for seven weeks The audio music was published on sixteen March 2013 and obtained important reception from critics as well as turned very popular amongst the audiences[citation needed]. The video track was published on 23 March 2013.
The music obtained acclaim from critics. Glamsham gave a rating of 5 stars out of 5 and pointed out, "It is certainly an exhilarating hostile listening to the songs of Aashiqui two and in this age of mundane and average/repetitive musical fares that are being churned out, the audio of Aashiqui two is definitely a treat for all song buffs. "Tum Hi Ho" and "Sunn Raha Hai" each( models) are our favourites, however "Chahun Main Ya Naa" and "Piya Aaye Na" end up as a close 2nd. A chartbusting musical hostile indeed.[1] Planet Bollywood commented "The music has all the hallmarks of a Mithoon advent; it’s soulful, extremely touching and of course it’s dripping with melody. The piano, strings and beats are very effective in growing an eerie romantic ambience for the singer to transform the music and Arijit Singh does that magnificently. Koimoi commented, "Album opens with a heavy and deep voice of Arijit Singh crooning Tum Hi Ho. Composer Mithoon has penned the lyrics for this passionate ballad which might remind one of the rest of the Bhatt track that have been heard in abundance in fresh times, right from Raaz three to Jism two. Arijit’s voice does touch the listener’s heart and lyrics contract the ardour as well. IANS wrote, "The album opens with "Tum hi ho". Sung by Arijit Singh, it begins slowly however progressively number of up the pace. Melodious and rhythmic, it has significant lyrics[clarification needed].
