🎼Enanitos Verdes - Lamento Boliviano (Cover Violin) 🎻(Solo Audio)
Muchas veces escuchamos una canción sin averiguar en lo que quiere decir. Sabemos que nos gusta pero no nos paramos a analizarla o simplemente no le entendemos. Lamento Boliviano es un claro ejemplo de ello, es un sencillo de la banda argentina de rock Enanitos Verdes, en Argentina no es extraño escuchar esta expresión, que las personas utilizan coloquialmente cuando una persona se queja siempre de lo mismo, como si de un lamento se tratara. El por qué lo llaman específicamente boliviano, tiene que ver con la historia, las fronteras y la situación social y económica de Bolivia.
Hay un verso en particular que me llamo mucho la atención, es el significado de una de las frases de este canto al desamor, y dice: “Nena no te peines en la cama, que los viajantes se van a atrasar”.
Uno de los significados es una antigua superstición que dice que, si una mujer se peina en la cama, trae mala suerte, especialmente en la cultura marinera que presagiaba marea violenta y posibles naufragios. Que loco verdad?
Y es una frase que también parece en el libro Crónica de una muerte anunciada de Gabriel García Márquez:
Lo único que mi madre les reprochaba era la costumbre de peinarse antes de dormir.
«Muchachas -les decía-: no se peinen de noche que se retrasan los navegantes.» Salvo
por eso, pensaba que no había hijas mejor educadas. «Son perfectas -le oía decir con
frecuencia-.
Es curioso lo que uno se entera escuchando e interpretando ciertas canciones no les parece?

Lamento Boliviano is a clear example of this, it is a single by the Argentine rock band Enanitos Verdes , in Argentina it is not strange to hear this expression, which people use colloquially when a person always complains about the same, as if it were a lament. The reason why they call it specifically Bolivian, has to do with the history, the borders and the social and economic situation of Bolivia.

One of the meanings is an ancient superstition that says that if a woman combs her hair in bed, it brings bad luck, especially in the marine culture that foreshadowed violent tides and possible shipwrecks. How crazy, right?
And it is a phrase that also appears in the book Chronicle of a Death announced by Gabriel García Márquez:
