Is This Love del cantante jamaicano Bob Marley, el tema trata de una persona que se siente ansioso de saber si lo que está sintiendo es amor, dice que quiere saber, en la cancion él se pregunta ¿es amor lo que estoy sintiendo?, per en cierta forma como podemos saber si es amor lo que se siente?, para algunos se sabe que es amor porque se sienten las famosas mariposas en el estómago, para otros las mariposas son un animalito que sólo vive un día.

Entonces la cosa va más allá; según lo interpreta en la canción Marley es cuestión de querer amar, de querer compartir, de sentir esa necesidad de estar con alguien el resto de la vida sin importar las condiciones, como dice en la canción:

> Compartiendo la misma habitación y usando una cama de una plaza de refugio y esperando que alguna suerte de ser divino provea el pan

Pero entonces si es querer vivir así podemos inferir que el amor no es algo que viene solo, ni que llega como mariposas, es un sentimiento al que hay que abrirle la puerta y alimentarlo para que se genere, es lo que el tema más o menos quiere decir.
