Greetings friends, in this new opportunity I am pleased to bring you a version of, The Beatles, is a band that gives an infinity of anecdotes. But ... what to write about the fabulous 4? There is so much and everything has been said, but for this particular day I have decided to choose a small anecdote about a song that those not avid in the French language usually sing as "anything" except in French. It's about Michelle, and the story goes back to the years when Lennon went to art school and the culture of the Eiffel Tower country was as cool as it could be. In this school of art they used to organize a series of parties attended by Lennon, who in turn invited McCartney. In such meetings Paul pretended to be a Frenchman and to get attention he played an instrumental theme to which he added one or another word known to him (sometimes even invented) of the language of love. Years later while The Beatles worked on the album Rubber Soul (1965) John remembered that song that Paul played at those parties and suggested he turn it into something real. This is how they ask for help from a friend named Ivan Vaughan whose wife was a French teacher so that he will collaborate with a phrase that rhymes well with: "Michelle, ma belle" and the result was to add "Sont des mots qui vont tres bien ensemble" which in the language of Shakespeare mean and are sung as: "These are words that go together well". I hope you like friends, a hug!
