Vivo per lei

in #dsound6 years ago

Hello friends, today I bring you a cover of a song that is really in my opinion an ode to the life of all the artists of the world, it is "Vivo por ella", written by Gatto Panceri for Andrea Bocelli's album, Romanza ( 1997). The lyrics begin by giving us a description of what life is like for singers. He starts by saying that he does not know if "she" found him or vice versa. It is mentioned that he does not remember how he started what could be called a relationship. During the first stanzas there is a detailed description of what "she" is, describing her as someone warm and sensitive. The narrators affirm that it is because of "she" that they live. Some may feel jealous because it is the sweetest of all and will always be with them, even in the moments of the deepest loneliness. In the following stanza it is said: "It is the muse that invites you", after this verse we begin to infer that it is not a woman or a person, but an art. In this same verse, this situation is complemented by the fact that you can play it softly on your piano and give it different nuances and characters according to the interpretation. It is evident, already, that the song is a complete ode to music, one of the most ancient and appreciated fine arts throughout history. Another stanza refers to the conditions in which many artists live due to their profession. "I live for her in a hotel", this verse refers to the places where singers must stay in hotels, leaving aside their houses and their families; all for the love of music. It is not until the end of the letter that we realize the difference between hearing and listening, since in the last verses it says "she is called music"; It is at this moment that we notice that all the description he has done before is about music; thinking it as a separate being, which at times even seems a divine being by the descriptions that are given. I hope you like this version, a hug!
