Dust In The Wind
Hello friends, today is very nice to bring you a version of the iconic play "Dust in the Wind" song performed by the American progressive rock band Kansas, published in 1977. It was written by the guitarist of the band Kerry Livgren, and was one of the first acoustic pieces of the band; its soft melody and melancholic lyrics differ ostensibly from other hit songs of the band, such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "The Wall" which has a further degree in electric guitars and experimentation. The interlude of the song contains a distinctive melody played by Robby Steinhardt, dubbing his solo violin, viola and cello, which were written in turn by Livgren. "Dust in the wind" makes us come face to face with reality, realizing that we really are nothing compared to nature and the universe, where our short biological life has gone. Extreme realism, because we are dust and we will become dust. It is a simple attempt to provoke the awareness that the important thing is to live in the present. The future will come. The past can no longer be changed. Because it is time for us to recover the perspective of our problems, afflictions and suffering before the immensity of the universe. And it also aims to show the need to take care of our environment and stop attacking what is increasingly sure that is not eternal, our planet. I hope you like it, a hug!
