Jeff Leinwand - Bassa Nova
Hello Fellow Steemians! This is my entry to the Steemit Music League Challenge S2_R8 - A DSound Community Initiative.
This time the theme is "Latin Music".
For this one I created a bass-kick combo with the modular system. I sent a straight 16th trigger to the Mutable Instruments Branches which then triggered the Tiptop Audio BD808 and the Cwejman VM-1 alternately. I used the Tempest too to create the lead sound and some pad style sounds in the background. The Snare/Hihats is also from the Tempest running through the Mutable Instruments Clouds in Resonestor mode. The DX7ish piano is coming from the Yamaha TG77. The whistling is a sample I found on the internet.

Great tune there, Jeff! I like the way it starts out with a Salsa feel and the futuristic electronica just keeps building on it from there!
