Himalayan Suite - Red Sky
Red Sky at night, shepherds delight.....or so they say. But up in the Himalayas, it means a totally different thing, the opposite in fact, so be prepared for storm, for snow. If there's a wind it drifts deep, and you'll have to find somewhere that's sheltered from the wind and snow direction, a ledge or something. A bit like the boy in the beached boat, sheltering from the storm back in reality. As I said before, it was written on my Hospital bed on an iPad on my first day of cancer treatment radiotherapy. It seems like an innocent piece of music now, but when I wrote it my head was troubled!
