Heaterville - Rihanna BBHMM Remix Hip Hop / West Coast Trap
It’s the weekend and it’s time to turn up! Today we goin wit Rihanna’s BBHMM and flippin it! DJ Jam threw me the acapella while we was in the lab in LA.
Right off the bat, i wanted to take Rihanna to the west. I broke out the pianos and strings and went to work. I started with some bouncy strings and everything else fell in place, the pianos, the bass, it’s all following the strings. The drums i love on this beat. I like how i made the snare sound like a gun after she sings “i call the shot, shot, shots!” Then during the hook, Dj Jam comes in on the 1’s and 2’s (turntables) and drops some dope scratches using the original BBHMM verse by AMG. Real West Coast ish right there.
