This song that I present to you today is part of the repertoire of the group Venezuela Identidad Musical, to which it belonged for several years. The song is called "El chipi", a Tamborera genre, the lyrics are taken from children's games that are made in Venezuela and the music is original to the group, a collective arrangement. The song is very cheerful and serves to break the ice when we are playing with a large group of children, inviting them to dance or sing. There is a mollusk family of clams that in Venezuela we call "chipi chipi" and is served in soups, but there is no certainty that this letter comes from there. When we played it live we really enjoyed watching the children dance and laugh.

Esta canción que te presento hoy forma parte del repertorio del grupo Venezuela Identidad Musical, al cual pertenecía por varios años. La canción se titula "El chipi", una Tamborera, la letra es tomada de juegos infantiles que se realizan en Venezuela y la música es original del grupo, un arreglo colectivo. La canción es muy alegre y sirve para romper el hielo cuando estamos jugando con un grupo numeroso de niños y niñas, invitándolos a bailar o a cantar. Hay un molusco familia de las almejas que en Venezuela lo llamamos "chipi chipi" y se sirve en sopas, pero no hay certeza de que está letra venga de ahí. Cuando la tocábamos en vivo disfrutábamos mucho ver cómo los niños bailaban y se reían.
