Fulia Oriental para España (Junto a Octagrama)

Recently I recorded with the group Octagrama which is composed of excellent Venezuelan musicians including Andrés Briceño, Joel Marcellus, Boris Millán, Miguel Vargas and Edgar Zambrano all under the production of Jorge Mirabal (percussionist and director of the group). This song is titled Fulía oriental para España, a fusion of Arabic, Spanish and traditional music from eastern Venezuela.
La Fulía is a rhythm that comes from Spain and Portugal and is played in different eastern Venezuelan states. Its time is 2/4. It is used to sing to the May Cross and is generally in minor key making a step through major key.
In this original song by Jorge Mirabal, he makes a musical gift based on the folklore and tradition of Venezuela, with the legacy of Spain and Portugal.

Recientemente grabé junto al grupo Octagrama el cual está compuesto por excelentes músicos venezolanos entre los que se encuentra Andrés Briceño, Joel Marcellus, Boris Millán,Miguel Vargas y Edgar Zambrano todos bajo la producción de Jorge Mirabal (percusionista y director del grupo). Esta canción tiene por título Fulía oriental para España, es una fusión de música árabe, española y música tradicional del oriente de Venezuela.
La Fulía es un ritmo que proviene de España y Portugal, se toca en diferentes estados orientales venezolanos. Su compás es 2/4. Se usa para cantar a la Cruz de Mayo y generalmente está en tonalidad menor haciendo un paso por la tonalidad mayor.
