Frills-
Are they integral?
A way of life uncynical
Sees side-flung recreation
A subliminal ablation
Seminal inspirance
Towards the serious.

Coronary, the centre
Or prerequisite periphery?

While I gamed I had an epiphany:
It's all the same how we gravitate
To the comfort of community no matter
The costume - lost fumes of the oracle
Emanate from the hostel of hades, ear to
The ground listening to ancestral admonition
Where the patterns speak through parched lips.

Through archetypes of whimsical art enlivened,
Further from reality or towards it are we ripened?

Hyphen - dot - ethereal telegraph - dit - dah - laugh
Print - pause - paint - clash - unwieldy wrath
Reedem - sling misery - through frills
And games - innocent wizardry -
Or daunting druglike shame?

Notes & recording

This piece addresses the seeming dichotomy between what is seen as important and what is seen as disposable. For instance, games & art, as opposed to jobs & science. Ultimately, we know these aspects of life are inextricably intertwined. So maybe consider this a bit of medicine for a left-brain worshipping culture. Check out the recording on @dsound below. Excellent. 2 minutes of silence is totally necessary. The Sounds of Silence are magnificent. That was my last blog entry. When I first started at Steemit I really thought we were only allowed to write about programming, crypto or Steem. But there is so much living art here. A friend 25 years younger than me saw me using discord and laughed saying, "You use this?" This is what we use when we game. Now we are using discord to connect worlds of art and culture and understanding.

I'm glad for your Epiphany. I could just say, "Some people like gaming but it can be harmful." But those words don't engage the heart and soul.

I must ask... Which game were you playing?

Great comment @mineopoly. I've been playing a lot of Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch. It's a really fun "family-friendly" shooter. Your a squid-kid and you use weapons that fire ink. It's really creative and well made. I have some friends that I play with online so I've been really enjoying it.

That is funny about Discord. Actually, I was surprised when I started Steemit that people used it, because yeah it's traditionally used by gamers. You know, it is pretty surprising how much variety there is on Steemit. Definitely a lot of it is crypto/programming related, but there's a lot of vibrant niches here. They will only expand as more people come join our thriving co-immunity!

i saw the point this poetry was trying to make through the first few lines,
on the coronary of a flower.
it is mostly the center of attraction while it really is just another kind of decoration.

But sometimes those aspects of life that are otherwise seen as disposable serve to keep our souls alive as well as to keep the cycle of somethings going.

Daunting druglike shame all day my friend.

Maybe you can find some reconcilliationn between the two sides in the fact they're only the brothers Dionysus and Apollo who come from the same tree, one just had more swasg: the curiosity tree (my proses;s;s elegence shocks me sometimes dude). And all of earth is grounds for play, just make your job that way.
