How are you today? I'm @crissimoes and this is my forty fifth post here on @dsound! Are you ready for another class?
Today I will teach you portuguese Prepositions!
This will be the first part. I will make another lesson with portuguese prepositions, to be easier for you.
Prepositions are the particles or inflexive words that establish the conection between two nouns in a sentence or phrase. All the prepositions come before the noun in portuguese.
Today we will see the Prepositions of Direction and the Prepositions of Time.
Let’s get started!
Preposições de Direção – Prepositions of Direction
- “Para” – For/to
For example: Vou para Inglaterra. – I go to England. - “a” – to
For example: Tu vais a Barcelona. – You go to Barcelon. - de” – From
Ele vem de Espanha. – He comes from Spain. - “através” – Through
A Carla vem através do metro. – Carla comes through the subway. - “Sobre” – Over
Eu salto sobre a cadeira. – I jump over the chair.
Preposições de Tempo – Prepositions of Time
- “antes” – before
Vou chegar a casa antes da meia noite. – I’ll get home before midnight. - “depois” – after
Depois das aulas vamos às piscinas. – After classes w ego to th swiming pools. - “dentro” – in
Chego dentro de meia hora – I will arrive in half na hour.
