For this round of the Steemit Music League Challenge, the theme is:

So I wrote a song about zombies.
And device addiction. And creativity.
But mostly zombies ;D

Bravo, Bennett. Clever and witty. I think being online can be somewhat unhealthy if one is consuming a lot of negativity, but it can be good for the mind if what is consumed is full life and positivity.
Thank you Pryde! Ha, yes, that was where the song ended up going... I do feel like a zombie sometimes with the amount of time I spend on Steemit, but it also feels so good to create and to connect with the community of creatives on here. I didn't know where it was headed at first, I just got "wake up, smell the brains" for the first line and thought "ok, so this is a peppy wake up song about zombies... and then it went where it went from there lol.
I enjoyed it a lot:)

Yeah this one was super fun for me, because as soon as I started thinking about it the first words that came into my head were "Wake up, smell the brains" and I thought, "ok, so this is a zombie song..." and from that point on pretty much everything about it made me laugh. I wanted to see how ridiculously peppy I could make a song about zombies and every time I added a new hook or flourish it was just cracking me up. And then the lyrics became about feeling like an internet zombie with all the time I'm spending on Steemit... so that's kinda like zombie in a good way anyway.
Glad it got you tapping your toes. Thank you so much for the inspiration because I would not have written anything this blissfully goofy without it, and God knows I love the ear candy, so this was pure fun :)
O wow yesssssssss that is incredible how one thought just flows and flows and flows and you get such an amazing result. Literally one of the most upbeat zombie songs I have every heard. You got some serious skills bud. I was smiling the whole time and grooving so epic that you can do that with your talents and passions.
