What do you mean by "directly"? Do you mean by investing in the game by buying Future? If you have Future, you will participate in the airdrop and if you have spent it in the game then you will be awarded next week as I have mentioned in the post. Please let me know if this answered your question.
He's most likely referring to the people who bought upgrades with STEEM when Drugwars was first released.
