Drugwars questions...??

I have been playing this great game for a few days now, and I have to admit that it has turned out to be quite addictive🙂

Learning more and more about the game, and strategies every day, but still there are things I just can't figure out...

When do I get access to the research center??

My first question is when do I get access to the research center?

Second question, how do I build defense, is it enough to just build more units, and will they take care of the defense automatically?
