Addicted To Drug Wars

in #drugwars6 years ago

Pun intended. I heard about Drug Wars a little while ago when it launched, but I have been so preoccupied with the arrival of our baby daughter, that I haven't had the time for much. Today, I finally got around to trying out Drug Wars and I must say, it is a lot of fun.

This simulation-based, point and click farming type of games tap into something primitive in my brain that hook me right in, and seeing how popular this game has become so quickly, others are just like me.

You basically buy new buildings, train mercenaries and attempt to become a drug kingpin on the platform. You can earn STEEM for actively engaging with the site and producing drugs, alcohol and weapons on the site. It appears battles are disabled for the moment, but I can't wait to start warring on other users and earning STEEM in the process.

It is quite impressive to see such activity on the Steem blockchain, even in the face of the prolonged bear market, witness troubles and uncertainty surrounding crucial whitepaper promises that have yet to be delivered. The community has shown that Steem only exists because of the community and not because of STINC.

I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of this game and it has a lot of potential once they expand the scope of it. I only recently got over my @steemmonsters addiction and now @drugwars has taken its place.

If you haven't tried it out yet, it would be appreciated if you would use my affiliate link which gives me a small percentage for referring new users: https://staging.drugwars.io/#!/ref/@beggars. Fair warning though, once you start playing you'll find it hard to stop.

Can someone hurry up and make a rehab platform built on Steem? I am addicted.
