On a positive note:
Alcohol lowers blood pressure.
If it wasn't for alcohol many more overweight Americans would die of heart-attacks.
It's also interesting to note that many centenarians have had a beer/drink a day throughout their lives!
Some people manage to pull it off surprisingly but it certainly isn't the best habit in the world!
