Thailand seizes $29 million in assets from alphabay founder

The police in Thailand have seized more than 700 million baht (which is roughly $20950000) in assets which included three homes, four high end sports cars and lots of cryptocurrencys

Alexandre Cazes who was a 25 year old Canadian citizen had been living in Thailand for the past 8 years was arrested in Thailand on July 5th and received charges related to narcotics distribution, identity theft, money laundering and other crimes. his wife Sunisa Cazes, also faces a money-laundering charge, she is still in custody. Thai police confirmed he was the administrator of AlphaBay. Thai authorities say Cazes hung himself in his cell.
