How to transport medicines properly while traveling

When a plane trip is planned, it is better to store the drugs for personal use in a hand bag, in case the baggage is delayed, lost or stolen.

In this way, it is also avoided to expose the medicines to a thermal shock: the suitcases are placed in the hold where the temperature goes below zero and at the airport they are exposed to the external heat. For the same principle, drugs should never be left in the car or under the sun: high temperatures (above 25 ° C) can compromise their effectiveness.

Attention also to humidity and the correct storage conditions: some drugs must be stored in the refrigerator. Keep the package insert with the instructions for use and never replace the original packaging of medicines, as it helps to make the product always recognizable.
