Heroin is a class of dangerous drugs because so used will have a fast impact. After the chemical interaction takes place, the affected nerve cells will be forced to release a neurotransmitter called dopamine. Dopamine is a specialized and important molecule in mediating feelings of pleasure that benefit the user. This is what triggers users to use heroin constantly. Because it works by suppressing some central nervous system functions, such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory and body temperature regulation, long-term use of heroin has been shown to cause brain damage.
