Maybe we all need to call a truce. The word itself will bring thoughts of war to many I am thinking. How many of us actually enjoy wars. Reading about the glorification of persons in historic wars and their endeavours with achievement. How great they are and remembered through time.
Myself I am one when conscious would like to avoid the conflicts of life. Those times my reactions take over and I speak without thought often lead to regret. The impulse to retort against what differ's from a point of view. Only serves to expand a difference.
One of the more well voiced truce's in history is probably the Christmas of 1914. If you have not heard of it. You will do if you read on. The whole world did not stop for a game of football on this day. Maybe in one specific incident this happened, Maybe in a few instance, the soldiers left the trench's and met in void of between. Entered into a trust of each other not to shoot for a period of named time.
The following link is actually an advertisement from a market store. It may also make war look not so hard. However, it does carry a message about the human and their needs. We need each other even while we kill each other. You have to ask your self. On this occasion, did these men want to be at war?
If men at war can cease fire without order and come greet each other in the battle field without weapons and in trust of each other. It has to say something about the human kind. Do we really want to war?
This video sends a message to me that we would prefer to get along then shoot bullets at each other. However we continue to shoot bullets and not through our own need. For the needs of another we go to war. These specific needs we never hear about. In general you can probably take a guess and say the resources a country has or to put the country in debt. (personal opinion that).
Maybe we need to stop fighting with ourself. Find a way to stop reacting or opposing another because of who they are. Truce that need inside of you that wants to speak out against another. truce that voice of opposition. Maybe then we will see the voice of opportunity come about, We will not be distracted by external conflicts. Put in place to divide us from our goals.
The biggest conflicts we live with are those of our own mind. How we would like to be against how society dictates we should be.

The majority of humankind, IMO, doesn't want war. Wars are pushed on the people by those who profit from them in most cases.
War is abnormal. I've never quite understood it. It may have felt more innate hundreds of years ago, I suppose, though.
