Buddy Up Monday is here again and this week's word is **Desire**. I like Monday's more than most maybe, cause on Monday I do not have to think of something to write about. It gets provided for me. I only have to think about what I will write about that word. When you think about it. That saves a lot of time filtering through words for something to write about. Everyone is welcome to write a post about the word Bravery, post it early on Monday, and present it at the Buddy Up server in Discord. Desire

The desire for. The desire to. The personal desire. Where does it come from? The mind or the heart? Does it matter? I think it does to some degree. Like much in life it is not always the what the why or the way. But how we deal with it. Can desire be said to be something else depending on what is desired? I have more questions about desire than I will be able to answer I think.

If you see someone you are attracted to. You may have a desire for their company or other stuff. They might be a master scrabble player and you have a desire to play scrabble with them. Is it desire or lust if there is a sexual attraction. Things like this are what makes some of these words like this one desire, hard to write about. Am I writing about a want? Am I substituting desire for an alternative word.

I do have a desire to write this post

If a want is a desire or a wish is a desire. We might wish for our desire but is the wish itself a desire. The same with want, We might want for something we desire, there are other things we may want but not desire. So desire must be more than just a want or a wish. A wish is a pretty dayum strong thing too. Stronger than a want. If desire is more than a wish, does it mean it is even stronger? How can I write about something I do not even understand what it is.

This is endless Now I need to know what desire is. Are my needs part of my desires. We want what we need, a want can be a desire. I don't desire everything I need though. I don't need everything I want or want everything I need. Desire seems to be out there in a dimension all of its own. Looks like this post is going there too. Just as well I don't have a desire to time travel. That might make this a bit complicated.

Desires are what we want need and wish for, though we don't always need want or wish for our desires, okay I wont go into all that again. But desire are with us instinctively. If we wish want or need them or not, they are there. To many we have an instinctive desire to help others.

We also have an instinctive desire to learn. We listen to what others say to learn something from them. Even if this is purely a gossip channel. People have that desire to help another and to learn something from others. The things we desire vary from person to person. Achieving that desire may serve as a great personal achievement. If the cost of the achievement falls onto the shoulders of another. Was the desire nothing more than ego or greed.

I have a want, a need, an ambition and a wish to grow something big with The Hive community. My desire is to begin a project where the costs of living begin to reduce for the necessities to live freely.
