Is that really a bad thing? I tend to show my backside a lot (luckily, it's even better than my front side) ahahaha. I agree, pride is important; but balanced and adequate. More than the outcomes, we should be proud of our efforts, thus removing conditions of worth.
Sometimes we are so cultured to be high-achievers and become proud of it, that when we fail to achieve these high-standards, we tend to be down on ourselves, which is worse. We have to acknowledge our worth and be proud of who we are. Lovely post once again!
@poetrybyjeremy as far as the whole showing the backside thing.. all I will tell you is it depends on who you are and how you choose to show your backside lol... I am sure that you have a few that wouldn't mind that at all and would actually encourage you to do so.
