Haha, no, I've just bought my first drone ever so my flying looks like someone skating for the first time. But I can tell you it's cool only from my 6 minutes of fly time. If you are looking to buy one yourself, get multiple batteries and a beeper. Also training cord so you can practice using emulator on PC.
This guys is amazingly talented, can't wait to see where this whole sport evolves to, the level of flying already is nuts. Best video I've seen so far.
Already pretty good. I wish to get to this level next summer. Will spend the winter practicing in emulator so I don't have to fear crashes. What's most noticeable here is the lack of smoothness in movement compared to the video I linked.
I have a friend that has this type of drones and has participated in several races, I know it is difficult to control these drones so I was surprised with this video! If I bought a drone it would be more for photos and videos, like a phantom 4 pro, but they are quite expensive..
I've seen few videos from drones like those and I'd imagine the experience to be quite "chill". I'd also like to own one like that eventually for just enjoying the scenery from up high. They also have longer range? I've heard of custom setups that have ranges of 30 miles, though if you want to fly back it's 15 miles as battery runs out. That's incredible.

Could be an experience of a lifetime with cool place and good headphones and just the right kind of music.
I myself have racing drone so I'd probably pick something synthwave to fly with.
