The rocket: Short review of the 252 Shuttle Drone by XK

Today I have one more drone for you: the Shuttle 252 made by XK. A fast ... no, very fast drone!

The XK 252 Shuttle has power – a lot of power. It is touted as aerobatics and racing drone. And so much in advance: both are absolutely true. The little copter masters the fast pace in perfection, but it is easy to control. Nevertheless, the copter is not suitable for beginners.

The drone is delivered as a complete set including transmitter, first-person-view monitor, batteries with charger, manual and other accessories. For the first flight, a wide free area is the ultimate, because the shuttle is a rocket and should be flown far and wide. If you use the sticks of the remote control - as one might expect from a beginner copter - the drone sprints away.

Due to the extremely bright LED on the front, the position detection is excellent - even if you fly further away. The same applies to the live image, which the camera sends to the monitor, which can be plugged into the transmitter. The video is recorded in parallel on a micro SD card. The quality of the recordings is okay - but of course not comparable to the results of a photo copter. Depending on the flying style you can fly with the shuttle up to 10 minutes.
