Remembering how to fly before the big exams!

I am currently on a three day drone course which is required to get my license so that I can operate legally during my upcoming job in which I will be creating a drone-lapse film documenting the construction of the UK's most advanced solar farm. The company I am working for bought me a DJI Mavic 2 pro, seen in the above image as i unpacked it for the first time.

I am blown away by how small it is and happy to see that it has a handy little bag, enabling me to walk long distances with it strapped to my body.

I don't have much time to write this as I have a lot of reading to do tonight in preparation for a bunch of theory tests I must pass tomorrow. My practical exam is on Saturday and am somewhat concerned I have not yet been able to fly this drone! The wind has been too high for me to have a play and am very much hoping I don't walk into the exam never having flown this thing.

It has been a few years since my last flight and it was with a much bigger drone, the Inspire.

So, after cramming until the early hours tonight I will be up at the crack of dawn to check wind speed and hopefully get this baby up in the air so I can get a feel for her.
