Random Thoughts - Driving Behind Trucks
The Good
- They can block the sun from your eyes. They can provide the perfect mobile shadow.
- Kangaroo blocker on the open roads at night.
- When they change lanes it can open up gaps in the traffic.
The Bad
- Stones can flick up and crack your windscreen.
- Slow trucks on a country/narrow road means you may miss your birthday.
- Animal carrier trucks... stinky pew!
- Hay carrying trucks lose a hayload of hay. It's raining hay and is not good for allergies.
- Overtaking road trains (extra long tucks) can be terrifying the first time. Does this thing ever end?

Can you think of any good and bad reasons?
I was a trucker for 25 years.
Do you really want me to answer that question?
Well seeing that you're not hibernating anymore.
I was cruising along with a truck blocking the sunglare. Trucks are a must and today's trucks seem to have more oomph! 😉
