How I Make Blueberry Lime Infused Vodka

Materials:

Chopping board

Pot

Lime Scooper

1 Gallon Glass Container

Strainer

Glass Bottles!

Masher

Funnel

Your Favorite Sweetener(Optional)

Ingredients:

12 Ounces of Blueberries

4 Limes

1.75 Liters of (Cheap or Expensive) Vodka

Instructions:

1. Prepare the fruit: thoroughly wash and dry the blueberries and limes. Remove any extra waste from either. Cut the lime guts out and put on clean chopping block.

2. Break out your pot! Put all fruits into the pot and pour a very small amount of water into the pot, only enough to completely submerge the blueberries and limes. Turn the heat on to a low-medium temperature setting, carefully mixing everything. Make sure all the flavor and juice mixes with the water. Heat and mix until you feel the juices and pulp are completely mixed.

3. Transfer everything in the pot to the glass container.

4. Empty out the vodka bottle into the glass container. Put in cool, dry area for at least 5 days.

5. Shake the jar of fruit and vodka daily, until you feel everything has completely mixed and infused. You'll see the vodka gradually take on the color of the fruit. Taste it after 5 days and continue infusing to your liking.

6. Finally, strain the fruit vodka: After the infusion period, separate the fruit and the vodka by straining it back into the stainless steel pot.

7. Mix everything, then carefully set up the glass container with the funnel on top and a strainer over the funnel. Slowly pour the infused vodka into the bottle.

8. After it is transferred, cool the vodka.

Final Step--POUR COLD INFUSED VODKA INTO A SHOT or COCKTAIL GLASS AND DRINK IT! Or pour it over ice and enjoy on a beautiful summer day :).
