Many do not know that Venezuela is one of the world's largest rum producers. The production of sugar cane in Venezuela dates back to the 16th century and the production of rum began in 1896.
Rum Diplomatico is one of the most respected Venezuelan products, their pride and one of the most awarded rum around the world.
I really enjoy drinking it because it's tase is nothing like low budget rums you can buy in markets.
