It's funny how scenery changes just like that in the middle of a dream. I believe you would be in a better position to tell the meaning of the elements. Just think about how they made you feel within the dream. If you wake abruptly and get up, you might lose the emotions that came with the images from your dream but if you stay still upon awakening you would be able to recall the different elements and their associated emotions.
