Dreams do come true

“Believe in your dreams because you are the only one that can make them come true.”

Nobody has the right to take away your dreams from you! Your dreams are very personal and you keep them close to your heart, don’t share this with everyone.

Once I had a dream that I made come true. Someone tried to take away my dream but it didn’t work. I wanted to go to India and give the street children toys and teddy bears. I’m not really sure why I had this dream or why it had to be India. But one thing was sure – India was calling me for long time! Back then I was not even that spiritual so it was not that part about India that made me want to go there.

If might be a very different dream, but this was one dream I had for long time. I was in Barcelona, Spain, when this dream started to take form for me. I told one random guy and he said “they won’t care about your teddy bears, they don’t even have shoes on their feet.” For some time I thought he was right, maybe it was a stupid dream?

Four years later I went to India for the third time and by then I had collected 20 kilos of my childhood toys and teddy bears in a big suitcase. In the streets of Colaba, south Mumbai, me and a friend opened the suitcase and said “free of cost!” After ten minutes it was all gone but the first things that they took – guess what it was – you’re right, the teddy bears!

That guy in Barcelona was right, they did not have shoes on their feet, but that does not mean that they don’t want and need toys and teddy bears. Some days later me and my friend was walking in Colaba again and we say some of the street children holding their new new teddy bears tightly.

I don’t really know why but this moment was one of the best in my life! Maybe because to make someone else happy also make you happy?
