I thought you knew and why should I make it obvious

To my Dad who hustling back has no no rest
The memories to my mind are great to weather the test
The reason lies beneath your gory cane
Your face and hands a contradiction to your lovely heart
I m grateful to God whose miraculous works I took as my own
His praises, a theme I hardly play on my phone
But his love always surrounds me whenever I find myself alone
