PROCESS PHOTOS

• Painting raw and freehand, no pencil marks. Starting with a skyblue base added with some grey, orange and yellow.

• I add some midtones to define shape and add depth. See all the new colors I mixed in.

• I have defined the blue eyes, and added textures in the background imitating and exaggerating sunset colors.

• With a 0.07 fine tip pen, and a 0.5 pen, I add dots and lines for darker parts and some shadows.

• Spreading across now, adding cross hatch and dots with forming textures.

• Thicker and darker pen for other parts where it needs more shading. It'll help save time too.

• Some parts look pale, and needs definition. A quick retouch of watercolor here and there.

• Ink and paint as much as needed until finished.

• I cut it to fit the scanner. But I took photos to document it all.
