Lunala is a legendary psychic / phantom pokémon introduced in the seventh generation. It is the counterpart of Solgaleo and the mascot of Pokémon Luna.

Since time immemorial, Lunala has been considered the herald of the Moon, and they have often referred to this Pokémon as "the creature that evokes the Moon". Lunala absorbs light constantly and converts it into energy. With its wings extended to absorb the light around it and a brightness comparable to that of the crescent moon, this Pokémon resembles an impressive night sky
