Just did the last draw for winners for the last installment of the Ragnarok Conspiracy beta reading contest. Big congratulations to @doughtaker who managed not only to win the 10 STEEM prize for part five as a whole but also win the SP delegation for book as a whole as well.

A big thanks to everyone who provided feedback. Your input truly helps me to improve the quality of my work and I'm very grateful for your input.

The per-chapter lottery draws went as follows:

  1. @doughtaker (1.5 STEEM)
  2. @tcpolymath (1.5 STEEM)
  3. @doughtaker (1.5 STEEM)
  4. @tcpolymath (1.5 STEEM)
  5. @tcpolymath (1.5 STEEM)
  6. @bashadow (1.5 STEEM)
  7. @doughtaker (1.5 STEEM)
  8. @bashadow (1.5 STEEM)
  9. @bashadow (1.5 STEEM)
  10. @bashadow (3.5 STEEM, extra long chapter)
  11. @doughtaker (1.5 STEEM)
  12. @doughtaker (1.5 STEEM)

The 10 STEEM prize for part five as a whole went to @doughtaker.

There was an extra competition for what specific entries for each of the beta reading competitions i've ran, for all five parts of the book, competed. That competition was for feedback pointing out non-grammer non-spelling inconsistensies.

Entries I ended up using in the draw for this competition were the following:

Different names same character

  • @bashadow Pointed out three instances where one character was referred to with completely different names (Dalika/Akilla, Matatu/Matata/Makatu, Urzon/Gurzan)
  • @doughtaker did the same once (KOTU/Kotu/Kitu)

Swapped characters
@doughtaker pointed out three instances of character and organization names accidentally being swapped out:

  • John/Pete
  • Bjarne/Wietse
  • New Zion / New Babylon

Gender change

  • @doughtaker pointed out that John had changed gender to a female at one instance.

Numbers

  • @bashadow pointed out my inconsistent use of numbers (written out versus numeric)

The draw for this final competition element was won by @doughtaker who won the prize of 500 SP delegated for six weeks.

I was truly pleasently surprized by the amount and the quality of the feedback this time. I'll be processing it and I'm sure it will all be of great help in maximazing the quality attributes of the final product. Thank you everyone for competing and giving amazing feedback.

It was kind of fun, I mostly read, and not that great at spelling, grammar or things like that, but some things stood out, and I was glad I could be of a little help. It was a fun story to read.
