Drawing Challenge#3 - Drawing a Cherry 紫紅的櫻桃

Hello steemian, welcome to my second entry for the drawing contest held by @helene. The theme is 'fruit' and the deadline would be 31/8. Please grab the chance if you are interested. Yesterday I brought some cherry from the supermarket and was attracted by the purple red color and it tasted so good. Therefore I decided to make the entry with cherry.

大家好，這是我參加 @helene 的畫水果比賽的第二幅參賽作品，比賽詳情可參考這裡，明天就要截止，有興趣的你要把握機會了喔。昨天家裡剛好買了櫻桃來吃，那紫紫紅紅的顏色好不吸引，味道又香又甜，所以我就用櫻桃作為這幅作品的主題。

Legacy regarding the cherry tree

The famous story about the first President of United States, George Washington's childhood is that he chopped down his father's favorite cherry tree and admitted the deed when questioned: "I can't tell a lie, Pa."

When George was about six years old, one day he carried a hatchet and went to the garden. He chopped into the beautiful cherry tree, which was one of his father's favorite. The next day George's father asked who killed that beautiful little cherry tree in the garden and George quickly recovered himself and said, "I can't tell a lie, Pa." His father didn't mad about his behavior and even appreciated his honesty and sincerity.

Though the story seem to be created by Parson Weems rather then it's a fact, George was still admired for his bravery and to be one of the great presidents ever in the history of America.

關於櫻桃的故事

最有名的應該就是華盛頓砍櫻桃樹的故事。
華盛頓就是美國的首位總統，也是被稱為美國國父的人。
話說，華盛頓孩童時代，他家中有個很大的莊園。有一天，小華盛頓在家裏把玩父親的一把新的小斧頭。他想著父親平常用斧頭砍樹枝的情境，想自己也去試試看。於是他就帶著斧頭跑到莊園，看到一棵小櫻桃樹，就跑上前，提起斧頭向小櫻桃樹砍下去。
當父親發現莊園被搗亂了，小櫻樹也被砍倒了，非常生氣，喝問是誰把櫻桃樹砍倒。華盛頓眼看自己闖了禍，但他沒有隱瞞，反而勇敢站出來承認自己就是兇手。
父親見到他勇於承擔過錯的精神，十分感動，怒氣頓時煙消雲散，並稱讚華盛頓的誠實真摯。後來，「誠實」也就成了這位美國國父為人的寫照。
雖然這故事後來備受挑戰未必真有其事，似乎只是為了推廣領袖的正面形象而撰寫，但這多年來還是成為了小孩子學習的榜樣，教育了不少正面思想的孩童。

Step 1.
Draw the outline of the cherry with a pencil.

先用鉛筆畫出櫻桃的外形。

Step 2.
Paint a layer of pale red on the cherry.

為櫻桃塗上淡橙紅色

Step 3.
Intensify the color layer by layer

逐漸加深顏色，做成層次

Step 4.
Add the details for the cherry and paint the branch

為櫻桃加上陰暗部分細節及塗上枝節

Step 5.
Add the background and make some fine adjustment. Done.

加上背景，修補細節， 完成
