Hi my Steemit friends ♨️!Today I'd like to show how to draw a Yellow rose in Oil Painting🎨.Thanks @helene for giving me the opportunity to share my skills in drawing by holding the Drawing Challenge :) If you're interested, don't hesitate to join!
Lets Start Friends :😎
Material used Pencil,Ink pen,brush and Oil paints
Step 1: Ink Drawing 🖋️
Draw rose with pencil.Outline the rose and its leaves with ink.
Step 2: Toning Canvas and Umber Layer 💩
Tone the canvas an add umber layer with brown paint
Step 3: Gray Mixture🙀
After dry mix gray color
Step 4: Color Mixture🎨
Add Yellow color beautifully to make flower stunning
Color the petals with steady hand
Add finishing layer
Now I make water dropping effect by using white color to looks like original
Then, add various green colours on leaves to make our flower marvelous look
Hurray! Our painting is finished 💗
Its not that easy that it looks but I believe that we learn by practice.For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.❤

Wow! This is gorgeous! Question: about how long did you have to wait to let each layer dry? I find that to be the most tedious thing about oil painting.

You can work with all colours in the range on your palette for between four and eight hours. These become 'touch-dry' on the canvas in 18 to 24 hours. However, remember that the thickness of the paint and the temperature of the room you are working in will also affect the drying times of your work.
Familiarising yourself with the properties of various oil colours and their drying rates will help you achieve the best results.;)
