This is my first entry into the 'Drawing Challenge' by @helene

You can draw whatever you like, as long as you draw it by yourself, it is accepted.

Since the theme is 'Fruit', I decided to draw one of my favorite fruits which is also very delicious, the amazing 'Strawberry'.

The Strawberry with a loving heart [可爱的爱心草莓 :)]

I initially drew it in pencil before I edited it on computer, below is what my pencil drawing looks like:

One of @helene's rules are:

If you look closely into the shadow of the cute Strawberry, you will see my username

I have tried to shape the letters of my name @apprentice001 into the shape of a heart because my drawing is about the 'Strawberry with a loving heart' [可爱的爱心草莓 :)]

3、Take photo of step by step process (this is one of the most important criterion)

Therefore, I made sure to take a lot of drawing process photos of the step-by-step process of the drawing as this is a very important criterion. I will first show animated gifs of the drawing process, and then go into step-by-step process of how I created the drawing and my thought process.

Here are the step-by-step process of how I created the drawing and my thought process

To start off, I began a rough sketch in pencil.

And then some fine tuning and darkening of the lines - trying to replace the rough outlines with clearer lines

Once that is done, I begin some shading

Now I move onto the leaves

Once the leaves are done, I move onto the shadow of the strawberry.

Some final touches of the pencil drawing on the leaves and on the shadow, and checking that the tone is appropriate.

Now that the pencil drawing is done, I start editing the drawing on computer, it took some time, so I will just show some images.

The main thing that I am doing here is to ensure that the Strawberry is showing a somewhat red color, and that it is shining, because it is the 'The Strawberry with a loving heart' [可爱的爱心草莓 :)]
