Quasi-lycanthropy in terms of my role playing game setting is a condition where a person is possessed by an animalistic spirit and takes on certain attributes of that spirit animal. Unlike traditional lycanthropy, they are not necessarily affected by silver, phases of the moon, etc. Being still human, the body of the host can be harmed as normal - however, this may be easier said than done because they are often quite feral and not easy to contend with. Often, they are also possessed of preternatural strength that belies their normal nature. An interesting encounter to be sure! Happy gaming
