Vent Drawing Before Bed

in #drawing9 years ago

Today was a stressful day. However, It's days like this that that make art so very important to me. It's always a good feeling to take all of that negative energy that's been building up and turn it into something else. Something separate that is easy to identify and confront.

This was another charcoal drawing. This time I decided to add a little red. It was a rushed piece that doesn't make a lot of sense. I guess you could say it represents the chaotic nature of a mind under the influence of stress and paranoia.

Let me know what you guys think in the comments.
How do you deal with stress?

I think that the charcoal drawing is nice, I am trying to picture exactly what it represent, does it have something to do with many trouble in the world, and fear? Weldon.

Cool! There is a lot of energy in this artwork!

A rushed piece? I wouldn't have been able to tell 'cause I really like it. Reminds me of Ghost, the Swedish metal band.

I'm digging it! Really like the blending on the robes.

The best I've seen from you since I started following!

I like it a lot, I think it represents paranoia and stress really well. And also feelings of anxiety. Running helps me with stress and also guided mindfulness meditation on YouTube or talking to someone about my feelings. I used to draw a lot a few years ago and it helped me with stress too, but I have almost stopped completely now that I have quite a lot with work and studies. I will try to start drawing my emotions more, thank you for the inspiration!

totally awesome.
