The irony is that you eventually wrote a good post. It's interesting to read. It's not always about the result but the journey. Which I sometimes forget as I keep starting drawings and pushing myself to finish them and not to mention the perfectionism... Which I'm trying to let go more and more. Doing something else can also give inspiration on what you wanted to do. I hope you will come back to the intentional writing but it's good not to force :)

Yes write, draw and paint but please don’t have the tragic ending 🤣
The drawing looks fine 🙃 think if you touched it with water so the colours spread but not enough to obliterate the paper it would have looked nice too but getting the right amount of water can be tricky (I used to do watercolour pencil drawings on standard print osier and very carefully apply water to get the watercolour look without the soak, didn’t always succeed 😅)
Nothing wrong with chilling or working as you like, the drive will probably drop on your head big time once you’re home in your workspace 🙃
