Spider Coccoon
There was once a spidery contents here but a spider has now put them inside coccoons.... Like Shelob did with Frodo Baggins~ Or maybe like those fleshy things in Aliens before the chestburster bursts out of them~ Yep, like one of those things :D
The background looks so real and cool.
One can tell from afar it appears like a beach.

I like this bird and the brush you are using to draw it. It looks like such a nice brush and it gives different feedback when you apply it differently.
Oh, the flowers are cute as well. I like that they are formed by combination of dots and lines and somehow they become flowers ^_^.

I love the pics and your process of teaching yourself Sumi-e, and us how to draw these great ink images. I'm a terrible visual artist, my art is fiction and poetry, that's how I express my creativity. But I love seeing others drawings/paintings here on steemit :-)

It's my husband's dream....so I started to draw gg and stopped buying art supplies for Chinese painting)) He even made me install Krita )) But I can't cope with these brushes...tablets...too difficult. You did a good job @veryspider ) I like the bird that gracefully sitting on a branch )

I love how you have a lot more confidence now while using it! I really really liked the end product. Also the gusts of wind look pretty cool! Using a color besides black, adds a little bit of a perspective of depth to it! Really nice drawing!
