As they say Ted7 the eyes are the windows to our souls. And you have captured this in your drawing. Great job for a beginner. You have talent. The shading in the pupils and highlights are realistic. I would love to have seen a little more detail of his eyelid, his skin, it almost feels like the drawing stopped at the eyelashes. Love that you have done this as a tutorial with video gif too. Will be following to see you develop further.
