我的手绘素描：伊斯坦布尔托普卡帕宫。

奥斯曼帝国获得了这座城市的控制权后，他们在16世纪初开始建造这座宫殿。它是苏丹的住所直到共和国开始，最着名的地区是后宫(harem)，这是所有女性--妻子和亲戚的居住区。
现在，这所宫殿开放成为所有公民和游客都可参观的博物馆。内有大量各苏丹的文物。

整个宫殿院区很大，基本上分成4个大院子加上后宫。第一院区是最大的，是宫殿的主要花园。这是我在宫门的素描，是通向内宫殿区（第二院区和其他宫殿）的真正入口。

My Sketch: Topkapi Palace, Istanbul, Turkey.

This is the Ottoman palace when he Ottoman Turks gained control of the city, and they started the construction in the early 16th century. It served as the residence of the Sultans until the Republic, the most famous area is the Harem, which is the living quarters of all the female wives and relatives of the Sultans.
Now the palace is a museum for all citizens and tourists alike.

The entire compound is huge, basically divided in 4 courts plus the Harem. The first court is the largest and is the main garden behind the walls of the Palace. This is my sketch on the Gate of Salutation, the actual gateway to the inner palace areas (the second court and the rest of the palace beyond).
