如果您与以多立克(Doric)柱式设计的帕台农神庙相比，您可以看到不同之处。多立克式的柱子更重更厚，没有任何装饰，是一个非常简单的设计。爱奥尼柱式则有着它自身的美丽。

The front porch has four such columns, which are all well proportional in classical Greek architecture.
One of the volutes was badly damaged so that it appears much smaller than the other one.
If you compare to the Parthenon, which is designed in Doric order, you can see the difference. Doric columns are much heavier and thicker, and without much ornament of any kind. It is a much simplier design. The Ionic order has a beauty of its own.
