I am (currently @eaudebla) a curator for AkibaSteem and this is just to let you know that I upvoted your post:
“I love the red moon. It's a nice touch.”
We're an anime-focused community full of fans and good people!
We aim to find good anime & manga content, share a happy moment & give some visibility. You got our vote and your post may get featured in our compilation post, if you don't want to be featured please let us know. Keep up the great work!
Hey, I'm noticing that you posted this only a few minutes ago so I'll come back to upvote you at the 15 minute mark. ;) I've also noticed that you post really good work quite often. Would you like to exchange upvotes on SteemAX?
Ok, upvoted! :D And sure I can explain. We can automatically exchange upvotes on our posts using SteemAX. My upvote is worth about $0.004 so if I send you an invite to exchange upvotes at a 1:1 ratio then each time we both have a new post we'll exchange $0.004 vs $0.004. The cool part about making exchanges is that it's like self upvoting (which is a big no no after HF20) and we also get each other's curation rewards. I think you post good work and I'd like to support you with my upvotes even if I happen post at a different time of day and don't happen to see your post right away. And if you think my work also deserves an upvote then an exchange makes sense. :) And with our upvotes automated we can be sure our votes land on or near the 15 minute mark, something I forgot to do!
You certainly have made a considerable calculation about the current hard fork. I prefer to vote manually, but thanks anyway for the explanation and consideration :).
That's cool. Calculating is my job since I develop code for the steem blockchain. Manually voting is good, however not everybody has time to catch every post in their feed. I try to support as many artists as I can by upvoting them on a regular basis, but I most certainly don't like sitting in front of a computer more than an hour or two a day. Anyway, keep up the good work and when I catch your posts I'll try to upvote you.
How not to realize that you are not publishing if your writings and illustrations are really beautiful! You do a very good job, friend! I loved it! Regards :)
i love her, @scrawly * ___ * she's so elegant ! the ink style is amazing and organic, full with flow, and expressive brush strokes !!! WOWOW~
And yesh, dancing and fighting are very close together in wuxia :D
I would like to know the story behind with character of yours ! She seems like she's both very classy and very deadly, depending on what she needs to be on the occasion :D
OH! And I love that blood red moon at the background ! Such a stark and sudden splash of colour amongst the black and white :) Very, very cool * ___ *
I adore that fact that dancer and fighter are very close occupation in wuxia, because that makes them so graceful whenever they're fighting. I've always tried to channel that element whenever I draw a wuxia art work, I am glad that you think I'm successful here, spideroo.
It is harder for me to control these type of inking because I'm used to a more tidy and precise lines. But maybe for other artists, it's their natural brush strokes. I guess it's different strokes for different folks kind of thing XD.

This is amazing scrawly!
It really has a feel of sumi-e paintings, and it blends so well with your style.
Brilliant work :D
Yes, I am trying to draw sumi-e like painting, so I'm glad you notice the style immediately.
Thank you Gabee <3.

Hmm sorry, I am not clear about what you are talking about. Maybe you can explain in greater details?

Dear Artist @scrawly ! This post has been upvoted from FineArtNow account ! See you soon !
Thank you for the support, fineartnow :).
I don't know about China, but in Japan dance was seen as a way to communicate with the gods - or to make deamons go away.
I so like that scene ^^ First her scary face, then the tripping, but finally she does it!
Thank you :).

I am glad you think that way but maybe you are just too nice hehe.
Thank you akarantain ^_^.

It does give me the vibes of a chinese dancer/princess. Amazing artwork like always scrawly!
I suppose that working with ink is complicated no? That makes this doubly amazing!

Thank you ejgarcia ^_^.
That pop of red is really well placed!
I'm glad you think so :D.
Thank you fromage.
Great ink work. You don’t have to do inktober like everybody’s doing it...in my eyes, a ink illustration like this is fitting good into inktober
From your Inktober arts, I see that you don't actually follow the rules too strictly... I guess I could do that as well :D.
Thank you for the comment, bronkong ^_^.
