Is this Pocahontas? I was just reading about her in a book about the history of tobacco. Her name actually means "The Frisky One" and she got the attention of her future husband John Smith by turning cartwheels naked in the town square.
I don't actually know the real Pocahontas, so no, she's not. Even the movie version I barely remember her personality, however the character design of the cartoon I remember pretty well since people use her as a meme pic XD.
Whoa I wonder why she would do that, I guess I should read up on her life sometime. It reminds me of Cleopatra a lil.
Despite her young age, she seems a strong woman * ___ * Love her expression and how you draw her eyes ! Makes me feel like she's one not to mess with * ___ *
The design of her outfit is really neat <3 Love that headdress and the cape thingy that she's got on ! The patterning on them are really nicely done, @scrawly :D Also her necklaces and belt add ROYALTY to this portrait :D

I think she's actually okay to mess with, despite her look and maturity, she's pretty friendly as a person :).
I spent a looooot of time on the patterns so I'm glad that you appreciate them ^_^.
