your chibi giselle is so cute <3 she is very lovely and prim, sitting there at her art nouveau window sill <3 and it is true that art nouveau has a lot of flowy and circular stuff, which can be quite difficult to do, but i think you did it well, here. you kept the adornments simple, but it still came off very art nouveau like !

Huuuu no, the lines don't look as good as I want them to be. I have seen some very pretty and elaborate and exacting lines and they're soooo gorgeous. I don't even know how people can do those stuff because if I use ruler or vector, it always comes stiff looking. Maybe one day I will find a good tutorial that will teach me how to do it, or I might just experiment when I have time to play around (not anytime soon lol).
I remember the cartoon, but not that vividly hahaha, so before I drew, I looked at some pictures of her so I get all the clothing and accessory right.

Yes, I love your blending of art nouveau and anime styles. Like Alphonse Mucha meets... Lain? (Well, Lain is really the only anime I've watched all the way through.)
You only watched Lain? Hmmm I wish you would have watched more anime series, but I know that it's hard to actually find good ones these days.
Art Nouveau and anime combination is actually quite popular, I think it's because both styles define themselves with heavy simplification of the lines, so I'm not surprised that a lot of anime artists find Art Nouveau to be very appealing :).

Knowing how to vector does make those concentric patterns and curves a lot neater and cleaner, but that requires learning how to vector XD
I can't remember if I've seen this movie or not, I don't seem to recognise the character but I don't care, your drawing is adorable XD My partner happened to look over my shoulder when he came back in and said it was really cutesy and looked like something to colour in XD
Ahhh vector art is difficult for me, maybe it feels similar with 3D art? It is hard for me to learn these because the creation process is not fluid and instantaneous, but more methodical, technical, and gradual. Not sure if I explain it well hahaha.
And the movie is pretty average, so you're not missing out at all if you haven't seen it.
Cute, simple, and there is a definite mild art nouveau vibe too it, even if I always have trouble spelling that. If you're intersted in vector art, I say give it a try - I'm fairly decent at simple vector stuff and I'm a terrible artist. It'd be neat to see what you could do with Inkscape.
I tried using vector again even yesterday when I created this drawing, but it feels so restrictive and slow... which makes sense because I'm a total noob at it haha. I know I should try again, so I will when I have more free time to make mistakes and be patient with myself, otherwise I'm just going to be even more discouraged ^^.
