Yeah, it can be useful in regular life but not so much in combats.

If they were like my daughter's character's superpower it might be slightly more helpful? We had a Changeling game where her character's "bonus power" (I liked to give players a tiny little free quirk that added to their character but didn't give them massive advantages) was that her drawings would come to life, but usually remained 2d and were comprised out of whatever they'd been drawn on (usually paper, sand, dirt etc so generally not very strong). We used to make jokes about death by a thousand paper cuts as the character took on some bullies with a tiny paper army (which assisted the fighter characters XD) and a small dust army blinded a more dangerous adult antagonist XD
And yeh, there is anime physics to consider I guess XD
